Former Kerala High Court judge PN Ravindran joins BJP, enthusiasts joining BJP fast before elections. Former Kerala High Court judge PN Ravindran has joined the BJP in Kerala.

Former Kerala High Court Judge PN Ravindran joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Kochi in the presence of Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

During the Vijay Yatra of BJP state president K Surendran in Tripunithura, Kochi, Ravindran was welcomed into the party by Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

A phase election for the 140-seat Kerala assembly is scheduled for April 6. A total of 2,67,88,268 voters will contest the 15th assembly in Kerala.

For Assembly elections 2021, the number of polling stations in Kerala has been increased from 21,498 to 40,771. The counting of votes will take place here on May 2.

According to the Election Commission, out of 140 assembly seats, 14 seats are reserved for SC class and two seats for ST class candidates.

These former judges have also been ABVP members during their college days.

The names of the two former judges were recently in the news after they allegedly endorsed the Love Jihad Act on a letter addressed to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Former Kerala High Court judges Justice V Chitambaresh could not attend the function as he is in Delhi.

Chimbresh said he was active in Victoria College, Palakkad during his student life. Has been an ABVP worker. Chidambaram said that I have been a partner of the BJP.

Now, I have officially embraced the party. I cannot attend the ceremony in Kochi because of my stay in Delhi.
