According to the information received from the police, some terrorists attacked the CRPF personnel stationed near Bijbehada Hospital.

One jawan was seriously injured after being hit by a grenade. The jawan has been identified as Patil Karmakar. He is stationed in 40 battalions.

Soon after the attack, the jawans admitted the injured fellow to Upjila Hospital Bijbehara , where his condition is currently being reported better.

The search for the terrorists who fled from thereafter the attack has started. A joint team of SOG, Army, and CRPF have reached the Bijbehada area and they have started the siege of the area.

Security forces say that the terrorists will be present in the area. Roads coming in and out of the area are being sealed.

The outlying areas will be searched first, then door-to-door inquiries will be conducted. Two to three terrorists are expected to be involved in the attack.
