Heavy Fall In Stock Market, Sensex Breaks Over 1700 Point

Heavy fall in the stock market, Sensex breaks over 1700 points, Nifty falls below 14,600. The stock market opened with a strong fall on the last trading day of the week.

The Bombay Stock Exchange’s flagship index Sensex opened 917.24 points down at 50122.07. At the same time, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty lost 267.80 points to open at 14829.60 level.

During the day’s trading at 12:37, the Sensex lost 1760.01 points to trade at 49,279.30 and the Nifty fell 501.05 to 14,596.30.

Heavy fall in the stock market: Sensex shares fall.

The stock market closed with a bounce on Thursday. After the day’s ups and downs, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s major index Sensex gained 257.62 points to 51,039.31 and the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed 115.35 points higher at 15,097.35.

In early trading today, the shares of all the companies were on the red mark in the major stocks. Top losers include ONGC, SBI, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance.

Bajaj Finserv, and Power Grid. All sectors started on the decline today in the sectoral index. These include reality, media, banks, FMCG, IT, pharma, financial services, auto, PSU banks, metal, and private banks.

Among the Sensex stocks, MARUTI, NESTLEIND, HINDUNILVR, BHARTIARTL, DR REDDY, and SUN PHARMA were in the green mark today.

Apart from this, shares of INDUSINDBK, ICICIBANK, AXISBANK, HDFC BANK, HDFC, SBIN, KOTAK BANK, TECHM, HCLTE, BAJFINANCE, and M&M were in the red mark.

Gold became cheaper in futures trading.

The Sensex opened with a gain of 450.78 points at 51,232.47 on the previous trading day. At the same time, the Nifty opened 132 points at a level of 15,114.

The rupee fell 8 paise to close at 72.43 against the US currency yesterday. Global standard Brent crude price rose 0.42 percent to $ 67.32 a barrel.

Gold and silver futures prices fell on Friday. At 10:32 am in April, the price of delivery gold fell by Rs 16, or 0.03 percent, to the trend at Rs 46,225 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).

In the previous session, the gold price in the April contract was Rs 46,241 per 10 grams. On the other hand, the price of delivery gold in June 2021 was at Rs 46,371 per 10 gram, with a decrease of Rs 24, or 0.05 percent.

In the previous session, the price of gold in the June contract was Rs 46,395 per 10 grams.
