History of Sikh Gurus to be included in Uttar Pradesh school curriculum, Chief Minister announces.

The school curriculum in Uttar Pradesh will include the history of Sikh Gurus. This has been announced by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The Chief Minister made this announcement during a Gurbani Kirtan held at his residence on 27 December on the occasion of ‘Sahibzada Day’.

This day symbolizes the martyrdom of four ‘Sahibzada’ (sons) of 10th Sikh Guru Gobind Singh and his mother Gujri.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that schools and colleges should organize debate competitions and this day.

This day should be celebrated in such a way that people can take inspiration from it, only then ‘Sahibzada Day’ can become a real children’s day.

The Chief Minister said that the history of Sikh Gurus will be a part of the curriculum. In addition, December 27 every year will be celebrated as Sahibzada Day in all schools.

Today is the day to offer gratitude. Sikh Gurus sacrificed their lives to protect Hinduism, which the country will always remember.

The son and mother of the Guru, who laid down his life for the motherland, country, and religion, can never be forgotten.

The Chief Minister said that the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh – Sahibzada Ajit Singh, Sahibzada Jujhar Singh, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh, and Sahibzada Fateh Singh are collectively referred to as Sahibzada.

While dedicating his sons to protect their country and religion, Guru Gobind Singh said with full enthusiasm that what happened if not four, many thousands are alive.

The Chief Minister said that if history is forgotten, no society can move forward. Sikh society is known for its hard work. Sikh Gurus sacrificed their lives. The country will always remember this.

Cabinet Ministers including Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma attended the program. The Chief Minister assumed ‘Langar Prasad’ along with ministers and saints of the Sikh community.
