Huge Amount Of Ammunition Recovered In Reasi District

Huge amount of ammunition recovered from terrorist hideout again in Reasi district: Militancy in Jammu.

Police and security forces carried out a joint search operation in the Upper Sildhar area of Reasi district on Friday and demolished another terrorist hideout and recovered a huge amount of ammunition from there.

By demolishing this hideout of terrorists, the security forces once again foiled the nefarious intentions of the terrorists.

Earlier on February 18 also, police and security forces had demolished a hideout of terrorists in the Maqidhar area and recovered it from there.

The security force is investigating the matter of how the hideout of the terrorists was established here. Is there any network of terrorists working in the area.

The police got secret information about some suspicious activities in Upper Siladhar and its adjacent Ronsawali and Ranjati Top areas.

On this information, a joint search operation was carried out on Friday morning by the police, army, and CRPF 126 battalion under the leadership of SDP Khalid Ashraf of Mahore on the instructions of ASP Surjit Kumar.

The area of Siladhar and the adjoining area was cordoned off and searched intensively. Meanwhile, the soldiers found an underground hideout of the terrorists under the rocks in the forest area.

Plastic sheet-coated weapons were recovered from the hideout, including an AK-47 rifle, two magazines, and 150 bullets, a rocket launcher, 16 UBGL, 4 hand grenades, and 2 radio sets and their antennae.

Any possible threat from the terrorists has been averted by this success of the police and security forces. The security forces have become more cautious in Reasi since the terror hideout was found in Hapta for the second time.

It is to be known that the Reasi district has also suffered from terror in the past. There is a possibility that once again terrorists are trying to revive terrorism in their old region.

Three friends of Kupwara, who were going to Kashmir to become terrorists, were caught by the Police on the Line of Control (LoC) on Friday. Apart from this, two LeT overground workers have also been arrested in Badipora. All are being questioned.

A police spokesperson said that police conducted a search operation after the news of the three youths of Kupwara going to the training camp of the terrorists in the slave Kashmir across the LoC.

Police were caught before the three boys crossed the LoC. They have been identified as Mohammed Rameez Rathor, Javed Ahmed Rathor, and Ejaz Ahmad Sophie.

Their age ranges from 22 to 27 years. All three are mechanics and friends among themselves. During interrogation, he said that he was in constant contact with a terrorist Commander sitting in Pakistan through internet media.

He was the one who asked the slave to come to Kashmir for terrorist training. At present, all three are in question. This year is the first case of life caught by three boys going to become slave Kashmir terrorists from Kashmir.
