IED Found In Manjakote: Conspiracy Of Terrorists Failed

IED Found in Manjakote: On one side conspiracy of terrorists failed, the army destroyed the IED found on the Jammu-Poonch highway.

The plot of terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir has been intensified. Terrorist organizations, which have been failing in front of vigilant security forces, are now seen in the same direction to carry out an incident.

A suspicious patrol was noticed by an army patrol at Mirza Mor on the Jammu-Poonch highway in Manjakote tehsil of District Rajouri and an IED was found in a fruit box.

On this highway, the army is also patrolling along with the common people in the morning. In such a situation, the terrorists had hatched a conspiracy to target the army or common people with the help of the IED.

On seeing the IED, army personnel stopped the movement of vehicles on the highway and immediately informed the bomb disposal squad.

Meanwhile, the local police team also reached the spot. The bomb disposal squad removed the IED from the roadside very safely on the spot and took it away and neutralized it safely.

Meanwhile, a joint team of Army, SOG, has laid siege to the areas around Mirza Mor and started searching for terrorists. He said that terrorists carrying IEDs on the highway may be present in the vicinity.

At the same time, the movement of vehicles on the Jammu-Poonch highway has been restored after the deactivation of the IED. Let me tell you that earlier on Tuesday, terrorists also exploded IED in Bijbehada, Srinagar.

This IED was mounted in a tipper. The tipper and the vehicles standing around it were damaged in the explosion but no known damage was done.
