After this, captain Tim Paine was sent back by Bumrah after lunch. Pat Cummins was bowled at zero by Jadeja while Mitchell Starc was caught by Navdeep Saini for 24 by Shubman Gill.

Jadeja brought India the 9th success by dismissing Nathan Lyon. The final breakthrough came to India in the form of a run-out when Ravindra Jadeja followed Steve Smith to a score of 131 runs.

After losing two wickets on the first day, Australia’s innings was handled by two experienced batsmen Steve Smith and Marnus Labushane.

Marines scored a half-century and took the team’s score to 150.

David Warner, who was returning from injury on the first day, was able to score only 5 runs while the second opener Will Bukowski, who was making his Test debut, scored 62 runs.
