Independence Day 2022: Prime Minister Modi said- Diversity is our strength and resolved to make India a developed country.
The country is celebrating its 76th Independence Day today. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation after hoisting the flag from the ramparts of the Red Fort.
In his address, PM Modi mentioned five vows while keeping a plan for the next 25 years for the development of India.
During this, the Prime Minister urged the youth to dedicate the next 25 years to the country and gave the slogan of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.
PM Modi has named the period of the next 25 years ‘Amrit Kaal’. In view of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, PM Modi was seen wearing a tricolor turban at the Red Fort.
Remembering those who sacrificed for the freedom of the country, Prime Minister Modi said that we have to fulfill their dreams.
Modi said that revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh, Azad, and Rajguru shook the foundation of British rule.
The Prime Minister said that India is the mother of democracy. Diversity within the country is its strength. The PM said that we should celebrate diversities.
The PM said that we should be proud of every language of our country. Sometimes our talents get tied up in the shackles of language, which is the result of the slavery mentality.
In his address, the Prime Minister said, ‘If I talk about nepotism, familyism, then people feel that I am talking only about the political field.
Unfortunately, this evil of politics has nurtured familyism in all the institutions of India. This harms the talent of my country.

PM Modi called it a historic moment. The Prime Minister said, ‘I was the first person born after independence who got an opportunity to sing the pride of the countrymen from the Red Fort.’
He said that in the journey of 75 years, amidst all the hopes, expectations, ups, and downs, we were able to reach here with the efforts of each one.
Regarding corruption, PM Modi said that those who ran away after looting the country in the previous governments are trying to bring back their properties by confiscating them.
It is our endeavor that those who have looted the country will have to be returned. Modi said if 130 crore people of the country take steps together, then the country will move 130 crore steps forward.
