India and China’s military talks lasted for 13 hours amid a standoff on LAC, know which issues were emphasized.

The 15th Corps Commander-level talks between India and China at Chushul in eastern Ladakh lasted for about 13 hours.

The talks of the military corps commanders of both countries ended at 11 pm on Friday night.

Indian Army sources said that the Indian side has stressed the resolution of remaining friction points in the region to resolve the military standoff that began in April-May 2020.

According to sources, the Military Corps-Commander level talks started at 10 am at Chushul-Moldo ‘Border Point’ on the Indian side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

It is learned that the Indian side has insisted on early withdrawal of troops to the remaining areas of conflict, including the resolution of the issues at Depsang Bulge and Demchok.
