India China Tension: Army ready to compete with China for a long time and remain posted on LAC even in winter. The Indian Army has informed a parliamentary panel that it is ready to confront China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) for long and deploy to the eastern Ladakh region during winter.

Giving details of a parliamentary panel, the Indian military led by Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat informed that the de-escalation between the two sides may take longer, but the Indian side is ready for any eventuality. Hai and has made arrangements for it in the Ladakh sector.

According to the leading news agency, CDS Rawat and the top military officer briefed the parliamentary panel about China’s aggression on the LAC, saying that Chinese troops were building a border with India under the guise of exercises. On June 15, there was a violent clash between China and the Indian Army amidst ongoing tension on the border. In this, 20 soldiers of India gave the supreme sacrifice. China suffered heavy losses during this period but has not yet accepted it. Two additional divisions of the Indian Army have been deployed in the Ladakh sector, where two formations are already deployed to guard against both Pakistan and China.
