India China Tension: Army ready to compete with China for a long time and remain posted on LAC even in winter. The Indian Army has informed a parliamentary panel that it is ready to confront China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) for long and deploy to the eastern Ladakh region during winter.

China suffered heavy losses during this period but has not yet accepted it. Two additional divisions of the Indian Army have been deployed in the Ladakh sector, where two formations are already deployed to guard against both Pakistan and China.
