India postponed the ‘Defense Expo-2022’ to be held in Gujarat, amidst the global crisis, more than a thousand companies were to be involved.

India on Friday announced the postponement of its defense exhibition ‘Defence Expo-2022’. The exhibition was to be organized from 10 to 14 March in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

In Defexpo-2022, more than a thousand companies from different countries of the world including America, Russia, France, and Europe were to participate in the biennial event.

But in view of the tension created due to the war, this has been postponed till further notice.

Giving more details about the program, Defense Ministry spokesperson Bharat Bhushan Babu said that the companies participating in the exhibition were facing logistics problems.

Due to this, the Defense Expo-2022 has been postponed. The exhibition was to be held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat from March 10 to 14. New dates for the event will be announced soon.

The exhibition is organized every two years.

It is worth noting that the Defense Expo is organized every two years at different places.

The program helps Indian defense companies to showcase their military products to the global market. Global companies also showcase their products at this event.

The last Defense Expo was held in Lucknow, while some other events in the past have been held in Chennai and Goa as well. Earlier, the Defense Expo was always held in the national capital.
