India responds to Asim Munir: India Slams Asim Munir’s Nuclear Blackmail
India responds to Asim Munir: India has issued a sharp rebuttal to Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir’s nuclear threats made during his US visit. Calling it old blackmail tactics, India vowed not to bow to intimidation while also criticizing the US for hosting such remarks.
‘We will not bow to nuclear blackmail, if necessary…’ India’s sharp response to Asim Munir’s rhetoric; the US also lambasted. India has reacted strongly to the way Pakistan’s army chief General Asim Munir has roared over nuclear weapons from the soil of its close strategic partner, the United States. India has made it clear that it will not succumb to any form of nuclear blackmail and will continue to take all necessary steps to ensure its national security. It has also taken the US by storm.

We will use the nuclear bomb if.
Asim Munir is currently on a US tour. Addressing the Pakistani diaspora in Florida, he had said that if Pakistan faced an existential threat in a war with India in the future, it would use atomic bombs. If India disrupted the water flow towards Pakistan, Islamabad would destroy the Indian dam.
He had said—We are a nuclear nation. If we feel we are drowning, we will drown, taking half the world with us. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal also underlined that there are deep links between the army and terrorist organizations in Pakistan. This has left doubts in the global community over the credibility of nuclear command and control there.
Jaiswal has termed Pakistan’s blackmailing over nuclear weapons as its old habit. Jaiswal also expressed regret that General Munir made this statement from the soil of a friendly country (USA). General Munir is on his second visit to the United States in the last two months.
Munir visits the US for the second time in two months
While relations between India and the United States are extremely tense due to President Donald Trump’s tariff policy, the Trump administration is rolling out the red carpet for the Pakistani army chief.
Munir made a lot of statements against India at a dinner hosted by a Pakistani-origin industrialist on Saturday. According to media reports, General Munir has threatened to demolish the dam constructed by India in 10 minutes.
He said that the Indus River is not the family property of Indians. We will wait for India to build the dam, and when it does so, we will destroy it. These reports have not even been officially condemned by Pakistan.
Some experts in India believe that the way Donald Trump himself has been claiming almost daily that he has prevented a possible nuclear war between India and Pakistan must have emboldened the Pakistani army chief to make such an irresponsible statement.
