Indian-US armies to conduct joint military exercises: The Indian Air Force has got another strength amid the ongoing military standoff with China.

According to the report of the news agency, three more Rafale aircraft will reach Jamnagar, Gujarat, India from France on Wednesday.

With the arrival of these three aircraft, the number of Rafale jets with India will increase to 29.

Let us tell you that in 2016, India had signed an agreement to purchase 36 Rafale aircraft from France for Rs 60,000 crore.

Official sources told the news agency that the three Rafale aircraft will land at the Jamnagar airbase.

This is the first batch of Rafale aircraft to arrive from France after Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary took over as the Chief of the Air Staff earlier this month.

As per the plan, the next three Rafale aircraft will reach India by the first half of December.

The next three aircraft (Rafale fighters jet) will join the operational squadron by 26 January.

The aircraft coming from France will be distributed between Golden Arrow Squadron based at Ambala and Hashimara 101 Squadron based in West Bengal.

The 36th Rafale from France will be delivered to India with many enhancements, which will make the firepower of the Air Force more lethal.

Significantly, this supply of Rafale jets is happening at a time when the standoff with China continues in eastern Ladakh.

Recently, French Ambassador Emmanuel Lenain had said that Dassault Aviation is expected to provide all 36 Rafale aircraft to India ahead of time.

On the sidelines of the 4th Indo-French Investment Summit organized by the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi.
