IPL 2021 CSK vs DC: Delhi won the battle for superiority, MS Dhoni’s CSK left behind.

IPL 2021 CSK vs DC 50th match: In the 50th league of IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings, who made it to the playoffs in the match, faced Delhi Capitals in Dubai.

In this match, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and decided to bowl, and invited Chennai to bat first.

Batting in the first innings, CSK scored 136 for 5 in 20 overs on the back of Ambati Rayudu’s unbeaten half-century. Delhi got a target of 137 runs to win.

Chasing the target for victory, Delhi’s team scored 139 runs for 7 wickets in 19.4 overs and won the match by 3 wickets.

With this win, Delhi now has a total of 20 points and this team has reached the top of the points table. At the same time, this was CSK’s second consecutive defeat.

In the last match, CSK was defeated by Rajasthan and now they have lost at the hands of Delhi. Now this team has come second in the points table with 18 points.

However, this defeat did not affect CSK as this team has already reached the playoffs, while Delhi has already made it to the top four.

Axar Patel was caught on the ball of Bravo after scoring five runs. Rabada remained unbeaten on four runs and returned after giving victory to the team, while Hetmyer also played an unbeaten 28 runs.

For CSK, Jadeja and Shardul took two wickets each while Deepak Chahar, Jos Hazlewood, and Bravo took one wicket each.

Chennai’s team got its first blow on the score of 28 runs when Axar Patel got Du Plessis caught by Shreyas Iyer for 10 runs.

Rituraj Gaikwad, who played an unbeaten century against Rajasthan in the last match, scored just 13 runs in this match, caught by Ashwin off the ball of Nartje.

Moeen Ali was dismissed for 5 runs by Axar Patel, while Robin Uthappa was caught by Ashwin for 19 runs in his hands.

Uthappa was included in the playing XI in place of Suresh Raina in this match.

Captain Dhoni played very slow innings and scored 18 runs off 27 balls and was caught by Rishabh Pant off the delivery of Avesh Khan.

Ambati Rayudu scored 55 not out off 43 balls with the help of 2 sixes and 5 fours. Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten after making one.

For Delhi, Axar Patel took two wickets while Nartje, Avesh Khan, and Ashwin took one wicket each.

CSK made three changes for this match and Suresh Raina, Sam Curran, and KM Asif were dropped from the playing XI.

In their place, Robin Uthappa, Dwayne Bravo, and Deepak Chahar were included in the team.

The Delhi team dropped Steve Smith and Ripple Patel was given the opportunity in his place. Ripple Patel made his debut in IPL through this match.
