ISJK In Kashmir: No one touches mobile phone when caught, ISJK has given special instructions to its cadre.
The Islamic State of Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK) has given special instructions to its cadre regarding the use of mobile phones.
They have been told that even if ever caught, try that your mobile phone should not be caught by any security agency.
Recently, the self-styled chief commander of ISJK, Umar Nisar Butt alias Qasim Khurasani, who was caught by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), gave information in deep interrogation.
Significantly, on July 11 and 12, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at 10 places from South Kashmir to North Kashmir.
NIA allegedly detained 12 people, including a woman, for questioning. ISIS-related material, arms, and ammunition were recovered from the arrested people.
The NIA later confirmed the arrest of only three persons, Umar Nisar Butt, Tanveer Ahmed Butt, and Rameez Ahmed. All three are residents of Achabal, Anantnag.
Umar is the commander of ISIS’s Kashmir unit ISJK and he is promoting ISIS’s propaganda magazine Voice of Hind or Swat Al-Hind under the code name of Qasim Khurasani.
Umar has told during interrogation that he was increasing the activities of ISJK in Jammu and Kashmir by joining ISIS from the year 2016.
He was engaged in preparing the cadre for ISJK not only in Jammu and Kashmir but also in other parts of the country.
He was in contact with commanders in chief of local ISIS organizations in Bangladesh and the Maldives. He mostly used Telegram, an app for Internet media.
Omar told the concerned officials during interrogation that ISIS’s propaganda magazine Swat al-Hind, also known as Voice of Hind, ISIS terrorists sitting in Pakistan regularly publish on the Internet and further broadcasts it.
The magazine was first published in February 2020 and has published 17 editions so far. He had issued instructions on Telegram to the ISJK cadre regarding the use of mobile phones.
They have been told that no one will take the name of ISHP, ISJK, or Kashmir during interaction on mobile phones or in internet media among themselves.
Just take the name of Vilayat Al-Hind. No one should use a phone with a sim card. Always use VPN, use WiFi. The phone should not contain any material related to jihadi activities or jihadi literature.
If ever caught, the phone should not be in the hands of security agencies under any circumstances.
According to him, the cadre of ISIS should be divided into two factions. One faction on the ground should be active and carry out violent activities.
