Jaishankar And Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s Meeting

Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s meeting in Moscow. Jaishankar’s long meeting with Chinese foreign minister amid tension on the border, India’s strategy buoyed by the dragon. The foreign ministers of India and China met for about two and a half hours in Moscow on Thursday amid tension over the LAC.

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in Moscow to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (CSO) Foreign Ministers’ Conference.

Sources in the Ministry of External Affairs said that during the talks, Jaishankar strongly put forward India’s view that bilateral relations cannot be strengthened without peace and peace on LAC.

The first visit after may

This was the first meeting between Jaishankar and Wang Yi after the Chinese troops encroached the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in May 2020. No statement was issued by the two sides until late at night about the meeting in Moscow.

This indicates that there was no positive conclusion to the conversation. Last week, the defense ministers of the two countries also held talks in Moscow under the same circumstances and they were also officially informed after a long time.

Support each other’s votes

Even before the bilateral meeting on Thursday, Jaishankar and Wang Yi appeared opposite each other on two other occasions. Once at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and at the second annual meeting of the Russia-India-China (RIC) Foreign Ministers.

In these meetings, Jaishankar and Wang Yi also supported each other’s views on the issue of globalization, global peace, science, and technological development.

Russia played a big role

After the meeting of the RIC, the joint statement spoke about working together for global peace and co-existence and following internationally accepted laws.

During this period, Russia’s role in bringing India and China to the negotiating table was also seen. Meanwhile, the Global Times said that if the meeting of Jaishankar and Wang is inconclusive, the hope of peaceful resolution of the current tension will also be over.

Commander level talks will continue

On the other hand, there is news from East Ladakh that the round of talks between the Brigade Commander and the Commanding Officer level of both countries continued on Thursday. There is no information to reach any specific result even after this conversation.

However, this dialogue at the commander level is agreed to continue further and the next military dialogue is likely to be at the Corps Commander level.

Six rounds of Lieutenant General level or Corps Commander level talks have been held between the two armies so far since the Chinese Army attempted to cross the LAC. The dispute has continued to escalate despite continued negotiations.

China is not ready to back down

China is not ready to return its troops to the situation before May 2020. At the same time, India says that it is not allowed anything less than this. Sources have said that India believes in maintaining every level of dialogue.

If there is a way of peace, then it will come out of the conversation. Indian troops have started landing on the ground to encircle the Chinese army.

Dragon in retreat to repel Indian Army

One of the reasons behind the extremely aggressive attitude of the Chinese army in the last fortnight is that Indian troops have encamped on several important highlands in the southern part of Pangong Lake.

From now on, the activities of the Chinese Army are being easily monitored. Efforts are also being made by the Chinese Army to rear the Indian Army. However, he has not received any success.

The opposition of India on one side and talks on the other side

In the last two days, the Chinese military has not shown any aggressive attitude. Perhaps the outcome of the conversation between Jaishankar and Wang Yi is awaited.

China’s propaganda war has also intensified amidst various rounds of negotiations. China’s official media Global Times continued to release anti-India statements and articles on its website on Thursday.

China is also engaged in a propaganda war

An editor of the Global Times tweeted that if the Indian Army does not withdraw from the LAC by winter, it will have to face defeat in a severe winter. Many Indian soldiers will be killed by a severe winter or Covid-19.

One article described the talks between Jaishankar and Wang Yi as a final attempt to resolve the current situation peacefully. If there is no result in this, it will be a dangerous message to the world that this dispute cannot be resolved in a peaceful manner
