Joe Biden gave important responsibility to Indian American, made White House press secretary.

The newly elected President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, has named Indian American Vedanta Patel as Assistant Press Secretary.

Patel is currently the senior spokesperson for Biden Integral and has also been a part of the Biden Campaign. There he has worked as Regional Communication Director.

In Biden’s initial campaigning, Patel served as communications director in the states of Nevada and the Western Primary.

He has also previously served as the communications director of Indian-American MP Pramila Jaipal.

Born in India and raised in California, Patel is a graduate of the University of California Riverside and the University of Florida.

America’s newly-elected President Joe Biden has announced 16 members for White House communications and press staff. Among these people is Vedanta Patel of Indian origin.

Also on the team are Megan Epper as Director of Research, Kate Berner as Deputy Communications Director, Rosemary Boeglin as Assistant Press Secretary.

Mike Jivin, Director of Rapid Response, and Meghan Hesse as Director of Message Planning.

Biden has also named Peggy Hill as Senior Regional Communications Director.

In addition, Michael Kikukawa is assigned press assistant, Jennifer Molina as Senior Director of Alliance Media, Kevin Munoz as Assistant Press Secretary, Emma Riley as Chief of Staff for the Office of Communications.

Joe Biden’s team stated that the nomination of these experienced and talented individuals demonstrates the newly elected president’s continued commitment to America and that all of them are ready to deliver results from day one.

Biden said that it would be a hallmark of my administration to restore faith in the government by speaking honestly and directly to the American people.

Our communications and press staff are integral to this effort and are committed to making this country better for all Americans. I am proud that I chose these logos to serve the American people in the White House.

White House Chief of Staff Ron Clann said, “The purpose of these appointments is to create a diverse and experienced team that can rebuild the confidence of the American people amidst this epidemic and a struggling economy.”

He said that clear communication in times of crisis can save lives and keep families safe. These members play an important role in communicating fact-based information to the public on behalf of the President and Vice President.
