Jofra Archer Will Not Be Able To Return To The Cricket Field

Jofra Archer will not be able to return to the cricket field for the next three months, know the reason.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed that pacer Jofra Archer has undergone a second operation on his right elbow in London on Saturday.

The ECB said that during the operation it was found that he had a long-standing stress fracture in his right elbow.

In such a situation, he has been away from the world of cricket for at least three months. Archer was already away from the cricket field.

Fast bowler Jofra Archer played the last match in March 2021 and now the ECB has told that he may be seen on the field only after March.

In such a situation, Archer will have to stay away from the world of cricket for more than a year.

The England Cricket Board said in its statement, “Jofra Archer’s return to cricket will be decided in time, but Jofra will not be available for any series for England this summer.”

In August this year, Jofra Archer had to be ruled out of the Test series against India, the ICC T20 World Cup, and the Ashes series.

He had his elbow operated on in May, but it took him a long time to recover from it, and then he had to undergo treatment for the other elbow as well.

Archer had to undergo the first operation because a piece of glass had entered his arm, which was known after the surgery.

The England team is currently playing a five-match Test series in Australia and then the team is to play a series against the West Indies next January.

England’s tour of the West Indies will run from January to March and they will not be a part of this series.

He is expected to recover during the IPL and then return to competitive cricket to play his summer season here.

The team of South Africa is afraid of this player from India, the captain revealed

South Africa captain Dean Elgar believes that the Indian attack has improved a lot in overseas conditions and Jasprit Bumrah has been able to take advantage of the helpful pitches of the fast bowlers in their home environment.

India will play a Test series in South Africa for the first time since 2018. The team had to face a 1-2 defeat even after a stellar performance in that tour.

The home team then had experienced players like AB de Villiers, Dale Steyn, Faf du Plessis, Hashim Amla, and Vernon Philander, but the current team doesn’t have any of them.
