The Supreme Court ordered the release of Arnab and the two other accused Nitish Sarada and Feroze Muhammad Sheikh on a private bond of Rs 50,000 each.

The court also advised the Maharashtra government not to take such unilateral action.

What is the matter

The three men, including Arnab Goswami, were arrested by the Alibag police of Raigarh on November 4 in 2018 in connection with the abduction of interior designer Anvay Nayak and his mother to suicide.
