Karnataka DCM Reminds Maharashtra CM Of Shivaji Maharaj

Karnataka DCM reminds Maharashtra Chief Minister Thackeray of the history of Shivaji Maharaj.

Two Deputy Chief Ministers of Karnataka surrounded Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to raise the issue of the border dispute and reminded him of the history of Shivaji Maharaj. Thackeray does not know the history.

Deputy Chief Minister Govind Karjol said- Shivaji Maharaj’s ancestors were from Karnataka

Karnataka DCM Govind Karjol told reporters that Bellajippa, ancestor of Shivaji Maharaj, was from Soratur in the Gadag district of Karnataka.

Belliappa moved to Maharashtra when there was a drought in Gadag. Shivaji Maharaj was the fourth generation of that family.

He said that Thackeray should remember that Shivaji Maharaj, whom he named his party as an ideal, was a Kannada.

Marathi speaking area of Karnataka should be made a union territory:

It is known that Thackeray has been demanding the integration of Marathi-speaking Belagavi, Karwar, and Nippani in Karnataka in Maharashtra.

In this context, he recently said that the Marathi speaking area of Karnataka should be made a union territory till the Supreme Court’s decision in this matter.

With this statement, the boundary dispute has once again rekindled. Karjol said that Thackeray is making such a statement to divert attention from the internal pull of his coalition government.

Savdi said- Maharashtra government failed on all issues

Second Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi also supported Karjol and said that the Maharashtra government has failed on all issues.

He did not take any steps in the public interest even during the Corona era, due to which he is losing his popularity.

He retaliated on Thackeray’s statements on January 27, demanding that Mumbai be made a part of Karnataka and that the Center should declare it a union territory until this happens.

Minister in charge of Belagavi district bordering Maharashtra, Ramesh Jarkiholi has also supported both the Deputy Chief Ministers.
