Kumaraswamy said that his real politics will start from 2023 and no one can finish the JDS. Earlier on Sunday, both the leaders issued a statement dismissing the speculation of the merger of JDS with BJP.

Chief Minister said it is not right to talk about the merger at such a time.

The Chief Minister told reporters here that neither he nor anyone else should speak in such a case. He, however, noted that the JDS had supported the removal of the Chairman of the Legislative Council.

In the coming days, they can cooperate if needed. But when they are trying to strengthen their party, it is not right to talk about mergers at such a time.

He said that there are still two and a half years left in the election. They will strengthen their party and we will strengthen our party. In such a situation, no one, including the people of our party, should speak on this subject.
