Maharashtra Recorded Highest Number Of New Corona Cases

Maharashtra recorded the highest number of 11,141 new cases, Corona increased in eight states. The rapid pace of Corona in eight states, including Maharashtra and Delhi, has once again raised concerns.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of infected people has increased to 1,12,29,398 and 97 people have died after 18,599 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the last 24 hours in the country.

So far, 1,57,853 people have lost their lives due to infection in the country. In the past 24 hours, 86.25 percent of new cases of corona infection are from six states Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Tamil Nadu.

The central government has sent high-level teams to Maharashtra, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Jammu and Kashmir to help in the fight against Corona.

Of the 97 people who died during the last 24 hours, 38 are from Maharashtra, 17 from Punjab and 13 from Kerala.

According to the ICMR, as of March 7, 22,19,68,271 samples were tested. Of these, 5,37,764 samples were tested on Sunday alone.

Immunization campaign accelerated.

Meanwhile, the vaccination campaign for the prevention of the corona epidemic has intensified. According to the news agency, a total of 2,09,89,010 doses of Kovid vaccine have been applied in the country.

Immunization campaign has been conducted in a total of 3,76,633 sessions so far. Of these, 69,85,911 health workers have been given the first dose of the Covid vaccine while 35,47,548 have been given the second dose.

According to the news agency, 66,09,537 employees working on the advance front have been given the first dose while 2,13,559 have been given the second dose.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 97 people have died due to Kovid disease. Of these, 87.63 percent of people have died in seven states alone.
