Manipur Security Forces Seize 155 Firearms: Security forces recovered 155 guns, 1652 ammo, and arrested 5 militants in major anti-terror operations across five districts in Manipur.
In a series of coordinated operations across five districts in Manipur, security forces recovered 155 firearms, 1,652 rounds of ammunition, 39 improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and 31 Pompi mortars. The joint efforts involved personnel from the state police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Assam Rifles, and the Indian Army. Acting on intelligence inputs, authorities also apprehended five militants linked to banned outfits such as KCP, KYKL, and KCP (MFL) in Imphal East and Thoubal districts, where they were allegedly involved in extortion activities.
