MP Jamyang tweeted a photo of the tricolor waving at Lal Chowk, went viral on social media. Anwar Lone, who lives in Chicken Market, a few steps away from Lal Chowk, said that the national flag has been waving above the clock tower since this morning. There was no ruckus.

The police had to save the tricolor from the stone-pelters.
