Murderous attack attempted on Japan’s PM Fumio Kishida, a ‘smoke bomb’ exploded in the meeting, attacker arrested.

An attempt was made to assassinate Prime Minister Fumio Kishida in the Japanese city of Wakayama. As he was addressing a conference, an object resembling a pipe was thrown beside him.

A leading news agency, citing Japanese media, reported that a sound similar to an explosion was heard at the scene of the incident which was covered in smoke.

Security forces showed readiness and safely rescued Prime Minister Fumio Kishida from his seat. I am relieved to hear that the Japanese Prime Minister is safe.

After the incident, security officers detained a suspect from the western region of Wakayama.

According to Japanese media NHK, a large explosion occurred at the venue where Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was giving a speech, and the area was thrown into chaos.

The prime minister’s security team covered him and transported him safely from the scene.

According to reports, Fumio Kishida began his speech after visiting a fishing port in the western city of Wakayama at the time of the incident. Police arrived and arrested the accused.

After this attack, reactions began to emerge from the leadership of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), to which Fumio belongs.

Liberal Democratic Party Election Commissioner Moriyama told NHK, “I was shocked to hear the news. It’s unfortunate that this happened during an election campaign.

Elections are the foundation of democracy. Liberal Democratic Party secretary-general Motegi said, “After this incident, I tried to contact Prime Minister Kishida.

I was told he wasn’t hurt. I strongly condemn this violent act.

Last year, former PM Shinzo Abe was assassinated when he was delivering a speech.

The attack is a reminiscence of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who was assassinated last year.

Similarly, former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was also shot twice in the chest during a speech.

Shinzo Abe was treated at Nara Medical University Hospital after the shooting but died six hours later.

Doctors said that after the attack he too had a heart attack and died of profuse blood loss. The man who attacked Shinzo Abe was also caught by security forces at the scene.
