My heartfelt wish is the return of Kashmiri Pandits to the valley with the respect and diginity: Farooq Abdullah.

National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah said that he would like to see the Kashmiri Pandits return to the valley with the respect of their living Kashmiri Pandits. He will also talk to the central government about this.

Dr. Farooq Abdullah was speaking at the Shivratri meet at the KK Resort in the city. During this event organized by the Kashmiri Pandit community, Dr. Abdullah recalled the old days and said that everything was better in Kashmir earlier.

Every community lived together. Everyone used to gather on the occasion of sorrow and happiness. At every festival, including Eid, Shivaratri, she used to be a little different.

Saying so much, Dr. Abdullah got emotional and said that my heartfelt wish is to see the return of Kashmiri Pandits during my life. It is a wish that Kashmiri Pandits live in the valley with the same respect as they used to live in the past.

The people there are still waiting for their Pandit brothers to come. NC provincial head Devendra Rana also expressed his views on the occasion.

In Kashmiri Pandits, the festival of Shiva night has started from today which will last for the next 24 days.

Earlier Prof. PN Trishul, in his address, gave a detailed overview of the Shiva night festival of Kashmiri Pandits and explained what its significance is in Kashmiri culture.

At the same time, he raised the issue of Kashmiri Pandits’ return to the valley, preservation of temples in Kashmir. Virendra Tikku was also present on the occasion.

He said that the festival of Shivaratri started today in the culture of Kashmiri Pandits. This festival brought happiness to the Kashmiri Pandits, it is their wish.

Farooq is also worried about the weakening Congress

National Conference (NC) President Dr. Farooq Abdullah is also concerned with the Congress becoming increasingly weak at the country and state level.

Farooq, who came to attend a program of Kashmiri Pandits on Sunday, said that to overcome public problems, Congress must be strong in the country. He has also expressed his concern towards Kashmiri Pandits.

Farooq participated in the Shivratri Milan program organized by Kashmiri Pandits on Sunday. Farooq got emotional during his address here.

He said that he would like to see the Kashmiri Pandits return to the valley with respect to their lives. He will also talk about this in the central government.

After participating in the program, he also said that he wants Congress to be strong in the country. This is necessary so that the forces that divide the country can be united and fight.

At present, the people of the country are also eyeing Congress so that their problems can be resolved. NC divisional head Devendra Rana also addressed the program.
