This claim was made by the State Investigation Agency (SIA) in the charge sheet filed in the court against two Punjab smugglers involved in Narco terrorism.

The SIA has filed a charge sheet in the special court against Gurpreet Singh alias Billa and Manpreet Singh alias Mani in the case of Unlawful Activities Prevention, NDPS Act, and cheating.

A case was registered against them on 6 February 2022.

On February 6, 2022, 36 kg of heroin, a pistol, and nine live cartridges were recovered by the BSF near the forward post located on the International Border in the Galaid area in district Samba.

Three smugglers and infiltrators were killed in the BSF action.

The SIA said that Gurpreet and Manpreet were in touch with the handlers of the Narco-Terrorism module based in Pakistan and some people operating in Punjab. The investigation against them is on.

In the charge sheet, the terrorist organizations are involved in drug smuggling, hawala, and arms smuggling by duping people living in border areas of Punjab.

Proceeds from drug trafficking are used for terrorist activities. According to the SIA, soon a supplementary charge sheet will be filed against all the accused in the court.
