He suffered an injury during the World Athletics Championships in Oregon, USA.

However, there he created history by winning the silver medal and winning silver medal for the first time in the World Athletics Championships. He could not take part in the Commonwealth 2022 due to injury.

Recently came the video of Neeraj.

After watching this video, the expectations of the fans about Neeraj had increased that soon this star athlete will be seen throwing a javelin on the track and field.

But it does not seem to be happening at the moment.

An update has come about Neeraj’s injury which has broken the expectations of the fans.

Speaking to Firstpost, Athletics Federation of India President Adil Sumariwala said that “Neeraj is still recovering from injury and so we don’t want to put him at further risk for the rest of the season.”

He will return to India from Germany soon after recovering from his injury.

Neeraj is currently in Germany recovering from his injury.

Therefore, AFI does not want to take any kind of risk with them. In 2019 too, he wanted to return to the championship after recovering from injury but was asked to take more time.

After that Neeraj set a national record twice and won silver for the country for the first time in World Athletics.

However, he could not participate in the Commonwealth. In his absence, India’s female javelin thrower Anu Rani won the bronze medal.
