The National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a supplementary charge sheet in the conspiracy to kill a Hindu priest in Punjab’s Jalandhar last year.
The NIA has filed a supplementary charge sheet against an accused in a case related to a conspiracy by Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) terrorists.
Gagandeep Singh alias Gaggu, a resident of Sangatpura Mohalla in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, is the fifth accused in the case.
The fifth accused was made by the NIA in a special court in Punjab after taking over the investigation on October 8 last year.

On July 4, the investigating agency filed a charge sheet against four persons in this case.
The NIA had filed a charge sheet against KTF’s Canada-based chief Hardeep Singh Nijjar, his close aide Arshdeep Singh alias Prabha, Kamaljit Sharma, and Ram Singh alias Sona.
On July 22, the investigating agency announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for giving information related to accused Nijjar.

According to the information, the investigation revealed that the main hand behind this conspiracy is that of accused Nijjar and Arshdeep and the conspiracy was hatched by both of them.
Both live in Canada. The investigation revealed that such a conspiracy was hatched to disturb the peace and disturb communal harmony in Punjab.
An NIA spokesperson said, “The members of the terrorist gang attacked Pujari with weapons supplied by accused Gagandeep on the instructions of Arshdeep.”
