NIA Filed The Charge Sheet Against Three Hizbul Terrorists

NIA filed the charge sheet against three Hizbul terrorists in a case of arms robbery in Kishtwar.

On Saturday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a charge sheet in the special court NIA against three Hizbul Mujahideen militants involved in a case of arms robbery in Kishtwar.

Along with this, the court has also been requested to end the charges against the three terrorists killed in this case.

An NIA spokesman said that a charge sheet has been filed against three Hizbul Mujahideen militants Jafar Hussain, Tanveer Ahmed Malik, and Tariq Hussain Giri in a special NIA court in Jammu.

Apart from these, the charges against three other terrorists Asama bin Javed, Haroon Abbas Wani, and Zahid Hussain have been requested to be dropped as they have been killed in separate encounters with the security forces in 2019 and 2020.

The spokesperson said that the charge sheet presented in the court today is on 8 March 2019 in connection with the robbery of the then-District Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar with his bodyguard and other terrorist incidents.

Initially, the matter was being investigated by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, but on November 2, 2019, the NIA started investigating the matter.

During the investigation, the NIA found that Kishtwar is part of a series of various terrorist incidents that took place in the year 2018-19.

All these incidents have been carried out by the Hizbul Mujahideen militants with the intention of once again building up a terrorist network in the Doda-Kishtwar range.

Their motive was to carry out looting arms and target certain distinguished citizens in this entire region to instill fear among people of a particular religion.

The charge sheet states that Jafar Hussain, Tanveer Ahmed Malik, and Tariq Hussain Giri used to help the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists in every way.

They were also involved in gathering equipment for them, arranging safe havens for them, and helping them prepare and execute their attack plans.
