NIA Raids On The Locations Of Traders And Contractors
NIA raids on the locations of traders and contractors helping terrorists: NIA Raid. the NIA team on Sunday raided nine places in the border Poonch district.
In the case of promoting terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir by sending arms and ammunition from Pakistan in the name of cross-border trade, NIA conducts raids at various locations.
The locations where the raids were carried out are contractors involved in the cross LoC trade.
On December 9, 2016, the NIA had registered a case against the contractors for sending arms and money from Pakistan in the name of cross-LoC trade.
On Sunday, the NIA team along with Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF, and ITBB raided the houses and other locations of the contractors associated with this trade.
During the raids, the NIA team has also seized many important records.
Let us tell you that in the year 2008, in the name of trust-building between India and Pakistan, cross-border trade started on the LoC.
These routes of trade on the border were opened from Uri in North Kashmir and the Poonch district of the Jammu division.
This trade was settled on a strict barter system, in which instead of the transaction of money for goods, there was an agreement between the two countries on sending goods for goods.
The NIA found in the investigation that the contractors were illegally benefited in the name of California almonds imported from the farmers.
Terrorists and separatists continued to be fed from this profit amount.
How the contractors were benefited: The price of California almonds coming from Pakistan was increased by 5 times and sent here.
The rates of this almond were high in their billing. Whereas the traders of Kashmir and Poonch districts continued to provide money to terrorist organizations more than the cost of almonds.
This gave rise to terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. The NIA has registered a case of sedition, cheating, conspiracy against more than a hundred accused under various sections.
