Notice issued to Delhi government on Tata Motors’ petition, know what is the matter.

The Delhi High Court on Friday issued notice on a petition filed by Tata Motors Limited (TML) challenging the denial of manual submission of its bids for the operation of 450 buses under the Delhi government’s cluster scheme.

TML prayed for an immediate listing in this regard, stating that the manual submission was made on December 22 at 3.54 pm.

TML’s writ petition, filed through Karanjawala & Co, was listed before a division bench of Justices Vipin Sanghi and Jasmeet Singh.

Senior advocate Gopal Jain, assisted by the team of Karanjawala & Co, comprising advocates Nandini Gore, Aditi Bhatt, Neha Khandelwal, Raghavendra Pratap Singh, and Karanvir Singh, argued the case.

The bench said that it is inclined to hear the issue if a delay in the manual submission of documents disqualifies TML from the bidding process if a valid online bid has been duly submitted in time.

While giving interim relief to TML by issuing notice.

The court noted in the undertaking of the government that the contract will not be awarded to any bidder before the next hearing on January 18, 2022.

Tata Motors, on the other hand, plans to invest more than $1 billion (over Rs 7500 crore) in the coming 4-5 years to redraw its road map for commercial vehicle business with electric vehicles.

Tata Motors is a leader in the Passenger Electric Vehicle (EV) space. Simultaneously, it is transforming into a new age-designed platform to deliver futuristic EVs in the commercial vehicle (CV) space as well.

These vehicle architectures will also be able to accommodate CNG, LNG, and diesel powertrains.

Data Patterns also made rich, listed shares increased by 47 percent.

Shares of Data Pattern (India) Limited were listed on Friday with a premium of about 48 percent against the issue price of Rs 585.

The stock got listed at Rs 864 on BSE with a premium of 47.69 percent over the issue price. The company supplies electronic systems to the defense and aerospace sector.
