Security forces killed two LeT terrorists in Shopian encounter, two encounters in 24 hours – three terrorists killed.

The encounter between security forces and terrorists in South Kashmir’s District Shopian has now ended.

Security forces have killed both the terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba hiding in the Chowgam area.

Although the security forces gave them several chances to surrender before killing them, the terrorists continued to fire, refusing to lay down their arms.

The police have not yet disclosed the identity of the killed terrorists, but if we are to believe the sources, then both the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists killed in the Shopian encounter were local.

They were identified as Sajjad Ahmed, a resident of Chek, a resident of Braripora Shopian, and Raja Basit Nazir, a resident of Achan. as Pulwama.

At the same time, this was the second encounter in South Kashmir in the last twenty-four hours. During this, three terrorists have been killed by the security forces.

According to the information received from the police, they had received information about the sighting of some terrorists in the Chowgam area in the early hours.

Soon after the information, SOG personnel along with 44 RR Battalion of the Army reached the spot and started the search operation.

At the same time, when the terrorists hiding in the area saw the security forces coming near them, they started firing on them.

Taking recourse to fire, the terrorists also tried to escape but the security forces had already cordoned off the entire area.

Before retaliation, the security forces asked both the terrorists to lay down their arms several times but on every appeal, they continued to fire.

After ensuring the safety of the people living nearby, the security forces killed both the terrorists using big weapons.

Both the terrorists are said to be related to the Lashkar-e-Taiba organization. Weapons have also been recovered from the encounter site.

This was the second encounter in South Kashmir in the last twenty-four hours. During this, three terrorists have been killed by the security forces.

Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Shahzad Ahmad Seh, who was involved in the killing of five BJP workers and a police inspector in a year in South Kashmir’s Anantnag and Kulgam district.

He was killed by the security forces in the Bijbihara encounter on Friday morning.

Shahzad was an A-class terrorist and IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, confirming his death, congratulated the police and security forces.

It was said that the number of these terrorists hiding in the Palm Mominhal Arvani of Bijbihara was close to three, while the body of one terrorist was recovered from the encounter site.

It is believed that after getting the opportunity, two terrorists managed to escape from there.
