Novak Djokovic will not play in ATP Cup, doubts are also on the Australian Open.

World No. 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic of Serbia will not travel to Sydney to take part in the ATP Cup to be held here next week.

Serbia’s local newspaper reported this. Djokovic was named in the Serbia squad for the ATP Cup.

However, the 34-year-old player has not yet clarified the situation regarding the corona vaccination to the organizers of the Australian Open.

Serbia’s team is in Group A along with Norway, Chile, and Spain in the ATP Cup to be held from January 1 to 9.

DRM NER beat SRMS by 7 wickets in a friendly T20 cricket match.

A friendly T20 cricket match was played between SRMS XI and DRM NER at Sri Ramamurthy Smarak College of Engineering Ground.

DRM NER won the match by seven wickets. On behalf of SRMS, Dr. Vishwadeep Singh was adjudged the best batsman and Shikhar Dayal was adjudged the best bowler.

T20 match was played between the teams of SRMS XI and DRM NER on Saturday at SRMS Engineering College ground.

Batting first, the SRMS team scored 141 runs in twenty overs. In batting, Dr. Vishwadeep of SRMS XI played brilliant innings of 53 runs.

Shikhar Dayal of DRM NER took three and Rajkumar took two wickets. Chasing the target, the start of DRM NER was slow.

Batsmen Sarveshwar and Shiv Rathi, playing carefully, added 70 runs for the second wicket and brought the team closer to victory.
