Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra gets Padma Shri and the ‘Param Vishisht Seva’ medal, expressed happiness by releasing the video.

Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra, who brought laurels to the country by winning the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics last year, has now been given a bigger honor.

On the 73rd Republic Day, Neeraj will be given the Param Vishisht Seva Medal by the President of the country, Ram Nath Kovind. Gallantry awards have been announced for 384 people.

The Government of India also announced to honor this champion player with Padma Shri.

Neeraj looked very happy to hear the news of both these awards being given and expressed his happiness while releasing the video.

He wrote on his Twitter page, I am extremely happy to hear the news of being awarded the Padma Shri Award and Param Vishisht Seva Medal.

The Param Vishisht Seva Medal will be awarded to Neeraj, who won the gold medal for the country in javelin throw for the country in the Mahakumbh Olympics held in Tokyo last year.

He will be honored with this honor on Wednesday, 26 January 2022. It is worth noting that the honor comes in the gallantry award and the gallantry awards to be given this year have been announced.

On January 26, 384 people have been named to the list of gallantry awardees.

This year includes 12 Shaurya Chakras, 29 Param Vishisht Seva Medals, 4 Uttam Yudh Seva Medals, 53 Ati Vishisht Seva Medals, 13 Yudh Seva Medals.

Neeraj Chopra has been honored with the Param Vishisht Award.
