The remaining 426 meters and guards will be laid in the next phases. The specialty of this mega bridge will be that the Reasi station yard with two lines and platform will be located on this bridge.

The construction of this bridge is being done by Afakan Bridge Construction Company. The construction work of this bridge, which started in September 2016, is targeted to be completed by June next year.

According to Rajiv Chaudhary, General Manager of North and North Central Railway, railway bridge number 39 being constructed between Katra-Reasi will be an engineering marvel. About seven thousand million tonnes of solid steel and 6700 million tonnes of structural steel have been used.

For the construction of its super structure, the work of installing guard and the Reasi station yard (main line, loop line, and platforms on both sides) has started. Work of laying 111 km railway line in progress between Katra-Banihal:

There is a plan to lay a 326 km long railway line connecting Jammu to Baramulla (Kashmir) with the Indian rail network. So far, the work of 215 km rail route has been completed, on which the train is running. The work of laying 111 km of the railway line between the remaining Katra-Banihal rail section is in progress.

The construction of many railway bridges and tunnels in this inaccessible mountainous region of the Himalayan terrain is extremely difficult and challenging. The journey will be exciting: After the completion of the rail section, when the train runs, the journey will be very memorable for the passengers.

Especially the journey between the Katra Dharma section will be quite romantic.

There will be 16 tunnels and 22 bridges between the Katra Dharma section. 47. In this section of 8 km, 41 km journey will be through a tunnel and a four km journey will be on a bridge. Only a 2.8 km journey will be on land. The height of a pillar of the bridge is higher than the Qutub Minar.

The bridge number 39, being built in the Gri Mod area of ​​Reasi, has a length of 490 meters and a height of 105 meters. The bridge has 8 spans.

One pillar of the bridge is also 22 meters higher than the Qutub Minar, which was built by the construction company Affcan Bridge Construction Company in a record time of 30 days.

This pillar is 103.26 meters high, with an above ground level of 95 meters. While the height of Qutub Minar is 73 meters. The Batam of a rectangular pillar is 10 meters from one side and 7.5 meters wide from the other side.

While the top is 10 meters wider than one part, the other part is 3.5 meters wide. The pillar is built under Rectangular Tapered and Slip From technology, giving it additional strength.
