One year of skirmish in Galwan: Fire and Fury Corps and Indian Army pay tribute to the martyrs.

It has been a year since Indian soldiers clashed with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

On June 15 last year, 20 Indian soldiers were martyred in a violent clash with Chinese troops in the Eastern Ladakh sector. On this occasion, the Fire and Fury Corps paid tribute to these martyred soldiers.

Major General Akash Kaushik, Chief of Staff of the Corps laid a wreath at the War Memorial in Leh.

Let us tell that the names of all those 20 martyrs are written on the War Memorial, who created an unforgettable panic in the enemy by killing more than twice their Chinese soldiers.

The Indian Army also paid a heartfelt tribute to its soldiers martyred in the Galwan Valley.

The Army said that Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane and all ranks of the Army pay homage to the bravehearts who made the supreme sacrifice in the Galwan Valley while protecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country.

Their valor will always be etched in the memory of the nation.

On the completion of one year of the martyrdom of Galwan’s heroes, a program to be held in honor of the martyrs on Tuesday at the Galwan War Memorial in eastern Ladakh.
