Pak vs Aus Test: Steve Smith broke the world record, became the fastest batsman to score 8000 test runs.

Australia’s star batsman Steve Smith has made a world record in the Test series being played against Pakistan.

This swashbuckling batsman left behind all the legends in the matter of making the fastest 8000 runs in Test cricket.

Smith achieved this splendid feat on the fourth day of the third Test match of the series being played in Lahore.

He left behind former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara in the case of making the fastest 8000 runs.

Smith took the world record as soon as he completed the 7th run in the second innings of the Lahore Test against Pakistan.

He had a total of 7934 Test runs in his account before entering the third Test match of the series. Smith was dismissed for 59 in the first innings against Pakistan.

Pak vs Aus Test: At the time of this innings, a total of 7993 runs were made in his account.

Smith needed only 7 runs to reach the figure of 8 thousand in the second innings, which he easily achieved.

Australia’s legendary batsman Smith made the record for the fastest 8000 runs in Test cricket. He achieved this special position in the Test match being played against Pakistan.

Former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara did this feat in the 152nd innings while Smith made a world record by doing so in the 151st innings.

India’s great batsman Sachin Tendulkar completed his 8000 test runs in the 154th Test innings.

West Indies’ great Gary Sobers did so after 157 innings while the current Indian captain Rahul Dravid took 158 innings to reach this milestone.
