Pakistan Rangers fired on BSF jawans in Arnia, border guards also gave a befitting reply: Ceasefire Violation in Arnia.

Pakistan, once again reiterating its nefarious antics, opened fire targeting the posts of BSF jawans in the border Arnia sector of Bishnah in the early hours of Tuesday.

No casualties have been reported in this firing. Confirming this unprovoked firing by Pakistan, a BSF spokesperson said that immediately after the firing, BSF personnel also opened fire in retaliation.

The Pakistani Rangers stopped firing after the BSF jawans retaliated. It is being told that in this intermittent firing for about half an hour, 25 to 30 rounds were fired from both sides.

A BSF spokesperson said that the firing started in the early hours of Tuesday.

Pakistani troops suddenly started firing targeting the posts of BSF jawans posted in the Arnia sector.

BSF jawans also immediately took the front and in response started firing on Pakistani Rangers. At present, there is no report of any injury to any BSF jawan or civilian in Pakistani firing.

Local sources say that after the consent of the military officers of both countries on the ceasefire in February 2021, the people of the frontier were very happy.

In the early hours of Tuesday, when the sound of gunshots echoed on the border, the people of the frontier came in panic. People drowned in their own homes.

Many went and hid in the bunker. They felt that after the firing the Pakistani Rangers would also start bombing.

Local people said that at the time of the firing, people of many villages were also working on their fields adjacent to the border, they also hid there.

Intermittent firing from both sides continued for about half an hour but after that, the guns went silent.

Talking to Media, Chitrabhanu Sharma, a resident of Arnia said that the process of shelling should be started again on the border.

Although a search operation was also conducted in many villages of Arnia sector to clear their doubts, till now no suspicious object has been reported.

Villagers told that first the rangers posted at the Khanor post of Pakistan started firing unprovoked bullets at the Chinaz post of India.

After this incident of firing, BSF has increased vigil on the border. BSF contingent is patrolling the area.
