PDP Leader Waheed Para Gave Rs 10 lakh To Hizbul Mujahideen

PDP leader Waheed Para gave Rs 10 lakh to HM to buy weapons: Kashmir Terror Funding.

Waheed-ur-Rehman Para, the leader of the youth wing of the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Party, had allegedly given Rs 10 lakh to the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist organization.

Money was given to buy weapons before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on the condition that a leader of his party Will not be attacked. The NIA, which is investigating the Terror funding and Hizbul Mujahideen’s links, has revealed.

Waheed Para, who won the District Development Council election, is currently in NIA custody.

The NIA said that the mercury conveyed the money to the Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist organization through suspended DSP Davinder Singh.

He was then posted at Srinagar Airport. NIA sources said that in February 2019, when Naved Babu and Advocate Irfan Shafi Mir were allegedly living in a hideout provided by Davinder Singh in Jammu,.

Mir allegedly received help for financial assistance to help Hizbul.

Mir and Para have known each other for a long time. Mir told Para that he needed Rs 10 lakh to buy five AK-47 rifles for the Hizbul Mujahideen.

PDP leader Waheed Para agreed to pay the money but stipulated that no member of the Hizbul Mujahideen would target the leader or activist of his party standing for elections.

Not only this, his organization will take care of PDP workers in Pulwama. He directly sought Hizbul’s support to win the election.

Let us tell you that the suspended DSP Davinder Singh was arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Shopian Ganderbal Highway on January 11, 2020.

When he was seated in his Hyundai I-10 car, Hizbul District Commander Naved Babu, Hizbul operative Rafi Ahmed Dar Was leading him to a safe place.

When the NIA investigated the case, it later arrested cross LOC businessman Tanveer Ahmed Wani, Advocate Irfan Shafi Mir, and Naved’s brother Syed Irfan Ahmed for their involvement in the terror funding case.

The NIA officer said that during the investigation when he investigated the mobile call of Mir, the mercury number was also included in it. This was revealed when Mir was questioned.

NIA sources said the task of giving effect to the deal between Hizbul Mujahideen and Para was handed over to the suspended Davinder Singh. Davinder called Para on 18 February 2019.

Para has also given a call back to Davinder. In March 2019, Parra sent one of his men with Rs 10 lakh in an envelope to the Srinagar airport. He was asked to hand over the envelope to Davinder Singh.

Singh was then stationed there. Singh received the money and placed it in a tiffin box and later carried it to Naved Babu.

The NIA official said that in order to strengthen his investigation, he recorded the confessional statements of Mir and Naveed Babu along with a video recording of the same.

Not only this, but he has also recorded the statements of some witnesses, who have seen him allegedly giving the money sent by Para to Davinder Singh.

Para’s lawyer TN Raina declined to comment on the NIA’s claims. Let me tell you that in a bail application filed by Para’s lawyer in NIA Court Jammu earlier this month, Para has denied all the allegations of Hizbul Link.

He alleged that he was being deliberately implicated because of his links with the political party.

CIK raids Wahid Para’s house and other targets: Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) teams have raided the house and other targets of Wahid Ur Rehman Para located in Pulwama, South Kashmir district.

Today, on Wednesday morning, the officers included in the team are Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF personnel.

The team arrived at the house of PDP youth wing chief Wahid Ur Rehman Para to search for documents related to bank transactions, hawala money, and cross LoC business connections.

The officer involved in the CIK team said that even after completion of the investigation process, clear information will be given in this regard.
