Petrol and diesel prices reached record highs, check rate once before taking fuel. Today again the price of petrol and diesel increased.

For the past several days, the process of growth continues. When questions were raised on the rising prices of petrol and diesel, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said in the Rajya Sabha recently that the government has no proposal to reduce the tax on petrol and diesel.

He had said that the reshuffle of prices depends on international prices, there is no role of the government in this, only the petroleum companies are fixing the price.

According to the Indian Oil Corporation, on Friday, February 12, the price of petrol increased by 28 to 29 paise, while diesel prices increased from 35 paise to 38 paise.

Petrol in Delhi today was Rs 88.14 per liter and diesel was Rs 78.38 per liter. Diesel in Mumbai today was Rs 85.32 per liter and petrol was Rs 94.64 per liter.

Petrol in Kolkata increased to Rs 89.44 per liter and diesel to Rs 81.96 per liter and in Chennai to petrol Rs 90.44 and diesel to Rs 83.52.

Apart from the four metros, Noida had one liter of petrol at Rs 87.05 and diesel at Rs 78.80 per liter. Talking about Patna, petrol reached Rs 90.55 per liter and diesel reached Rs 83.58 per liter.

Petrol and diesel prices reached record highs: In Lucknow, the price of petrol rose to 86.99 and diesel to Rs 78.75 per liter.

It is known that petrol and diesel prices change at six in the morning every day. Petrol and diesel prices increase after adding excise duty, dealer commission, and other items.

Information about the change in the price of petrol and diesel will be available through SMS. In Budget 2021-22, it was announced to impose ‘Agri Infra Cess’ of Rs 2.5 per liter on petrol and Rs 4 per liter on diesel, but the government said that this would not impose any additional burden on the general public.

Stock market opens with gains, Sensex rises 124 points to above 51,600.

The stock market opened higher on the last trading day of the week. At 09:17 this morning, the Bombay Stock Exchange’s leading index Sensex was trading up 124.11 points at 51,655.63 and the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty was up 66.80 points at 15,083.55.

Domestic stock markets closed higher on the previous trading day due to the rise in the shares of major companies like Reliance Industries, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Finance, and Bharti Airtel.

The Sensex gained 222.13 points to close at the level of 51,531.52. Nifty closed at the level of 15,173.30 with a gain of 66.80 points.
