PM Package Kashmiri Hindu Employees Will Be Promoted

PM package Kashmiri Hindu employees will be promoted. All displaced Kashmiri Hindu workers will be promoted by July 7, the Lieutenant Governor has given instructions.

All displaced Kashmiri Hindu employees appointed in Kashmir under the Prime Minister’s Special Employment Package will be promoted according to their eligibility by July 7.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has asked the concerned officers to complete the process of promotion within the stipulated time frame.

The Prime Minister’s Special Employment Package Scheme was launched as part of the process of respectful return of displaced Kashmiri Hindus in the Kashmir Valley.

Under this scheme, 6,000 jobs have been created in various government departments, and out of these 4800 posts have been appointed to eligible Kashmiri Hindus.

Sources related to Raj Bhavan said that Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha held a high-level meeting with all the administrative secretaries, all the district deputy commissioners of the valley, and district police chiefs on Tuesday.

In the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor reviewed the action being taken towards resolving the issues related to the employees of the Prime Minister’s Employment Package.

Administrative Secretaries informed that the seniority list of these employees has been finalized.

At present, the meetings of the Departmental Promotion Committee are going on in sequence.

Under the Prime Minister’s Employment Package, Kashmiri Hindu employees appointed in various government departments in Kashmir were not being promoted. They were constantly raising this matter.

Lt Governor Manoj Sinha had recently assured the Kashmiri Hindu employees sitting on a dharna at the Kashmiri Hindu Transit Colony in Sheikhpora, Budgam that all issues related to their promotion and service would be resolved soon.

Kashmiri Hindu workers are scared after the terrorist attacks on target killings were carried out in the valley. They are seeking a transfer out of the plaintiff.

On May 12, terrorists killed a Kashmiri Hindu employee Rahul Bhatt inside his office in Chadoora Budgam.

A separate seniority list of these personnel has been prepared:

A special scheme was approved for the promotion of employees appointed under the Prime Minister’s Special Employment Package in the meeting of the Administrative Council held on June 8 under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

A separate seniority list of Kashmiri Hindu employees appointed under this scheme has been prepared in their departments, which is parallel to the seniority list of regular personnel in the department concerned.

This list will be considered effective from the day from which the displaced Kashmiri Hindus have been appointed to the additional posts created in the concerned department under the Prime Minister’s Package.
