Police Commemoration Day: PM Modi pays tribute to the policemen who died in defense of the country.

On the occasion of Police Commemoration Day 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to the policemen who died in defense of the country.

Police Commemoration Day is celebrated every year in 1959 to commemorate the ten policemen who sacrificed in defense of the Indian border along with China.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that Police Memorial Day 2020 is a day of gratitude to our police personnel and their families across India.

We pay tribute to all the police personnel martyred in the line of duty. His sacrifice and service will always be remembered.

The PM said that our police personnel always give their best without hesitation, from solving horrific crimes and maintaining law and order, from assisting in disaster management to fighting the Corona epidemic.

We are proud of their hard work and readiness to help citizens.

At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute at the National Police Memorial on Police Memorial Day.

He said that so far 35,398 personnel have martyred, I want to say to all the family members of the martyrs that this memorial (National Police Memorial) is not just a memorial made of brick, stone, and cement.

Assam Rifles arrested two active cadres of KCP-PWG in Manipur

The Assam Rifles, in coordination with the Manipur Police, arrested two active cadres of the Kunnipak Communist Party (KCP). He has been detained by the People’s War Group (PWG-Khuman) from Chote village in Bishnupur district.

On Tuesday, according to the Assam Rifles, armed ammunition was recovered from the cadre. This recovery includes a 9mm pistol (USA-111 making), live ammunition, two Chinese hand grenades, and two gunners.
