Police seized illegal liquor which was being illegally transported in the lorry in the state of  Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Police seized a lorry which was carrying liquor illegally at the state’s Mylaram Pulluru Cross Road on Tuesday. The police have seized the lorry.

Andhra Pradesh Police on Tuesday captured a lorry which was carrying liquor illegally at the state’s Mylaram Pulluru Cross Road. The diesel tank of the lorry was divided into two parts, one of which was used to hold liquor bottles.

According to police, seven people were arrested and 1052 bottles of liquor were seized in two separate incidents of illegally transporting liquor. Police said a lorry, a truck and auto, a car and a two-wheeler used along with bottles of liquor have been seized.

Mylavaram police conducted a sudden raid and a lorry was found in suspicious condition. After a thorough search of the vehicle, police found that the lorry was used to illegally transport alcohol into the diesel tank.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) B Srinivasulu said that Mavalaram police conducted a sudden raid this morning. They found a lorry in a suspicious condition on Mayilavaram Pulluru Cross Road. Police said that Telangana liquor is being illegally transported to Andhra Pradesh.

“The liquor to be carried in the lorry was very confidential. They have divided the lorry’s diesel tanker into two compartments. While one is used for diesel. Another part is used for storing liquor bottles. Thus, they are attempting to transport liquor in a very secretive manner. But our policemen were successful in seizing the liquor. We appreciate their efforts and recommend rewarding the SP.
