Politics & Terrorism nexus: The NIA has filed a charge sheet.  Shujaat Bukhari’s assassin also had a connection with Waheed Para, gave 10 lakhs to Lashkar commander Abu Dujana.

The Waheed-ur-Rehman Para, the president of the youth unit of the Peoples Democratic Party, did not have relations with the Hizbul Mujahideen alone.

He allegedly helped the terrorist, Naveed Jatt, involved in the murder of journalist Shujaat Bukhari, as well as Rs 10 lakh to Abu Dujana (Abu Dujana), the main accused in the suicide attack.

Sources associated with the NIA said that efforts were being made to find out whether Para had used the funds received by his party’s fund and Khel India for the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council for terrorist organizations.

The NIA has filed a charge sheet in the court on Monday against Waheed Ur Rehman Para, who was arrested in November 2020, based on the interrogation of Hizbul divisional commander Naveed Mushtaq Babu and former DSP Devindra Singh.

The charge sheet claimed that Para had helped Lashkar’s Pakistani terrorist Abu Dujana in 2016 by Rs 10 lakh.

He also played an important role in providing various accessories to another Pakistani terrorist, Naveed Jatt. Naveed Jatt was the main accused in the murder of journalist Shujaat Bukhari in the year 2018.

Naveed Jatt escaped in Srinagar’s SMHS hospital on February 6, by killing two policemen in film style. He was killed by security forces in Budgam on 29 January 2018.

At the same time, Abu Dujana, a prize of Rs 15 lakh, was killed in an encounter with security forces on August 1, 2017.

In 2016, when a series of violent protests were going on in Kashmir after the death of terrorist Burhan, Waheed ur Rehman Para allegedly gave an amount of Rs five crore to Altaf Ahmed Shah, son-in-law of radical Syed Ali Shah Gillani.

In 2016, around 200 people were killed in violent demonstrations, and 11,000 people were injured, including three thousand security personnel.

Apart from this, Para is also accused that during the NC-Congress coalition government headed by Omar Abdullah, he had prepared a stone-pelting racket in Pulwama to incite violence and take political advantage.

Used to help in carrying terrorists and weapons from here: NIA has alleged in its charge sheet that Mohammad Yusuf Lone Gadura, a relative of Waheed ur Rehman Para was a terrorist.

Apart from this, some of his more knowledgeable people were also terrorists. It was through this that he expanded his network to Hizbul Mujahideen, Lashkar, and other terrorist organizations.

Para reportedly also transported an AK-47 rifle from one place to another safely for the terrorists in his government car. Para used to misuse his position and reputation to help the terrorists.

He has many times transported the weapons of terrorists from one place to another. He has also allegedly helped terrorists in changing their hideout several times.

He also used to go to Kupwara in North Kashmir and from there used to bring weapons and terrorists in his vehicle many times. On the way, it was not checked at any place. His residence is also accused of meeting Hizbul militants.
