President & Prime Minister Pay Tribute To Pranab Mukherjee

President & Prime Minister pay tribute to Pranab Mukherjee as he died yesterday.  All veterans including President and Prime Minister pay tribute to Pranab da, on his last journey. Bharat Ratna Pranab Mukherjee, who gave a new direction to the country as President after five decades of party politics, died in Delhi’s military hospital on Monday.

84-year-old Pranab was hospitalized since August 10. Pranab’s body has been brought to his residence at 10 Rajaji Marg for the final darshan. Arriving here, President Ramnath Kovind, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to him. The funeral will be held at 2 pm at the crematorium on Lodhi Road.

Home Minister Amit Shah expressed grief over the death of Pranab Mukherjee and said that it is a matter of deep sorrow and shock for the whole country that Bharat Ratna Pranab Mukherjee did not live among us. Pranab Mukherjee specialized in the art of keeping everyone together. When he was in power, he always worked to keep pace with the people of the opposition. When in opposition, he never shied away from playing the role of constructive opposition.

BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia paid tribute to former President Pranab Mukherjee at his residence, 10 Rajaji Marg. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi paid tribute to former President Pranab Mukherjee at his residence. Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad also reached here and paid tribute to him.

Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh paid tribute to former President Pranab Mukherjee at his residence. Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal paid tribute to him here BJP President JP Nadda, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary and CPI leader D. Raja paid tributes to former President Pranab Mukherjee at his residence.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Health Minister Harshvardhan Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla paid tributes to former President Pranab Mukherjee at his residence. Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff General MM Narwane, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal R KS Bhadauria, and Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh paid tribute to him.

Was admitted in an army hospital

Pranab’s great personality can be gauged from the fact that before assuming the presidency in July 2012, he had held important ministries like defense and finance. He was admitted to RR (Research and Referral) Hospital in Delhi Cantt in the afternoon of 10 August. He had a blood clot in his brain, which underwent surgery. Investigations on the same day also found corona infected. Health did not improve after the operation. He was in a coma and had lung and kidney infections and was provided ventilator support.

Seven-day mourning declared

He breathed his last at 4:30 pm on Monday evening. Pranab Mukherjee was the 13th President of India, who had proved his mettle in national politics for five decades. The central government has declared seven days of mourning (31 August to 6 September) in his honor. The flags of Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House have been flown.

He has been given many adjectives such as Chanakya, Troubleshooter due to his unique political talent. He was awarded the Bharat Ratna in 2019. Many leaders including President Ramnath Kovind, PM Modi, Amit Shah, Rahul Gandhi expressed condolences on Pranab’s death.

President Ram Nath Kovind lamented that Pranab Mukherjee’s death marked the end of an era. His public life was great. He served Mother India as a saint. The nation is sad to lose its valuable son.

Condoling the death of Pranab Mukherjee, PM Modi said that in his political journey, Pranab da handled many important portfolios. He was a veteran politician and sharp scholar. In 2014 I was new to Delhi. I got Pranab da’s support and blessings from day one. I will always remember the things that happened to him. He made Rashtrapati Bhavan the center of knowledge, science, and culture.
