Human rights activists and family members of those who have gone missing have protested. According to the leading news agency, the police used force to stop people from protesting outside the Karachi Press Club. According to the report, five people are said to have been injured in an encounter with the police.

‘The Sindhi Missing Persons’ and other human rights organizations organized a protest rally in Sindh to demonstrate solidarity with the families of the missing persons.

The protesters shouted slogans like ‘Yeh jo deshatgardi hai, uniform behind it’ ..! Other family members of the missing people, including women and children, were seen crying and arguing with the police. The protesters were demanding the immediate release of those allegedly abducted by Pakistani intelligence agencies.

Sorat Lohar, an aggrieved family member, said security agencies entered Ashgar Brohi’s house and tortured him and other family members. The agency destroyed the house before picking it up. Suhani Joyo’s husband Sarang Joyo was abducted by agency personnel.

Sunni says that we should be allowed to meet them. If my husband is guilty then he should be produced in court. People from the Pakistani intelligence agency entered our house like terrorists and destroyed everything. We know that in reality, Pakistani agencies are terrorists.
