According to the doctors’ association, Ramdev has claimed that millions of patients have died due to taking allopathic medicines. However, the Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust has termed these comments as incorrect.

In a letter to Ramdev, Harshvardhan asked him to withdraw the statement. He had said that this remark is an insult to the Corona warriors and has hurt the sentiments of the country.

IMA issued notice to Baba Ramdev

At the same time, today the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has issued a legal notice to Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev.

In this notice, Baba Ramdev has been demanded to regret the statement made by him regarding the doctors of modern medicine and allopathy.

The notice states that Ramdev should express his regret by issuing an explanation in writing. If he does not do so, the association will file a lawsuit against him against the Defamation and Epidemic Act.

On the other hand, the former presidents of the Delhi Medical Association (DMA) have termed this notice of IMA as a scam.
