Petition to know the condition of Covid patients reached Delhi High Court, court issued instructions

A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court seeking hospitals to update the condition of Covid-19 patients. After hearing this, the court issued notices to the Center and the Delhi government and sought a response.

In this petition, it has been demanded that the hospital and doctors tell the relatives of the patients and the attendants living with them in the hospital, the complete real condition of the health of the patient.

A bench of Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh, hearing in this case, issued a notice saying that it is seen that many hospitals are informing relatives of patients only when the patient admitted in that hospital dies.
