VK Mishra will lead the parade

The parade length will be shorter

Due to Corona, the length of the parade will be short and all the salute march will start from Vijay Chowk to National Stadium instead of Lal Quila.

Bangladesh troops will start with a squad

The parade at Rajpath will begin with the salute of the joint squad of the three Bangladesh forces and their military band. It will have 122 soldiers including seven officers.

Bangladesh said – a matter of pride for us

Colonel Mohtashim Chaudhary, who is heading the Bangladesh Army contingent, said during a press conference that it is a matter of pride for his country that India has got a chance to participate in the Republic Day parade.

This association with India is also special because the Bangladesh Army is always thankful for the unforgettable role of Indian forces in their freedom struggle.

The armies of these countries have taken part

Colonel Mohtashim Chaudhary also said that it is special for us to come to the parade because in 2021 Bangladesh is celebrating the 50th anniversary of independence and the birth centenary of its founder Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The forces of Allied France and the United Arab Emirates have participated in the Republic Day Parade before Bangladesh.

A glimpse of military might will be seen

A tableau of modern weapons of the armies will also be held this time to give a glimpse of India’s military might. This will include the Bhishma T-90 tank, T-72 tank, BrahMos supersonic missile, Pinaka rocket launcher, and all other weapons.

Paramveer Chakra winner will join the parade

The Paramveer Chakra winners will be a part of the parade as before, but this time due to the corona, the squad of ex-soldiers will not be included. Due to the corona, only 25,000 people have been invited to watch the parade this time.

32 tableaux will be removed

On the Rajpath, 32 tableaux of the states and various departments will showcase different dimensions of progress with the art culture of the country.

After this, the second main attraction of the parade will be the flypast of the Indian Air Force. Rafale will be the center of attention of all the recently inducted in the Air Force.

Apart from Rafael, Sukhoi, MiG, Mirage, and indigenous light combat aircraft Tejas, etc. will also show their strength.
